Frog-Thor

Thor 2 is released tomorrow in the UK, and I recently read the first eleven issues of Jason Aaron's Thor: God Of Thunder comic, which might explain why I suddenly got an idea in my head for a comic about Thor. More specifically, the time that Thor got turned into a frog...

Yes, there was an actual storyline where Thor turned into a frog!!
In 2011, Thor #363-366 was voted in at number 5 in MTV Geek's 10 Best Thor Comics - Ever!. I haven't read it (yet!), but I hope that it featured a scene like this...

Amazing Fantasy #15 – featuring the first appearance of Spider-Man – was published by Marvel Comics in August 1962, so this month marks Spider-Man's 50th anniversary! Here's a drawing I did to commemorate the occasion...

Sketchbook Project 2012 (Covered)

So, after finishing the interior pages of my Sketchbook Project 2012 sketchbook, I've finally completed it and drawn on the front and back cover.

If reading comics has taught me anything (...and it has!), if you put Wolverine and Spider-Man on the cover, more people will pick up your book, so...


And on the back cover is Professor Pyg, one of the best new villains from Grant Morrison's recent Batman books...



I'll be posting my sketchbook back to the Brooklyn Art Library later this week. It's been a really good project to do and I definitely want to take part again in a future Sketchbook Project!
