Happy Birthday Alyana!

Last week was my friend Alyana's birthday. I didn't put it online immediately because she lives in Melbourne and I wasn't sure when it was going to arrive in the post to her, but thankfully it made it very soon after the actual day.



I tried something different with this card by just drawing using pencil and scanning that without inking the image. I like the softer line it creates.

So it's Alyana's birthday tomorrow, but due to the fact that she lives in Melbourne where it is already the future (or maybe I'm just not quite understanding the concept of International time zones...) I thought I'd post this now. Plus I know that she already opened her card early! Tsk tsk!
