Congratulations Kavita and Gus!

How time flies! Over a month ago, I went to the wedding of my friends Kavita and Gus. I had previously designed the invitation for their wedding with an illustration of them both on the front. Gus use to be in the Royal Air Force and Kavita works as a GP...



At the wedding Kavita's friend Jenny had made the (delicious!) wedding cake, and she told me that she'd had the idea to create the figures on the top of the cake after seeing my invitation...



And so when it came to making a card for Kavita and Gus, I thought I'd take some inspiration from Jenny's cake, and draw Kavita and Gus on top of a cake!

Invitation commission

This was a nice commission I was working on last month, creating an invitation for two friends of mine that are getting married this year. Gus was in the Air Force and Kavita's a G.P. and they wanted an illustration that bought together these two areas of their lives.

I was happy with how it turned out, and even more happy that they were too...
