Stars In Their Eyes...

So, I've been busy recently working on my submission for the snappily titled, The Observer/Jonathan Cape/Comica Graphic Short Story Prize (that I'll be posting soon!), which is why I've not posted anything in the past week or so. However, this weekend my friends had a housewarming party with the theme of Stars. Stuck for something to wear, I drew the following comic strip and then printed it onto fabric transfer paper and ironed it onto a t-shirt! Voila! Stars!

Zombie/Bling Printmaking Party



Last night I went to a party. Huzzah! There was a combination Zombie/Bling theme, so – by way of a costume – I drew a picture of me as a zombie (with screenprinting slidey thing... I don't know the techinical name), and put it on a t-shirt using some transfer paper I had...

T is for T-shirts...

Just before Christmas, I produced a few t-shirt designs and screen printed them myself at Uni. I really enjoyed doing this, and it was relatively simple – definitely something I want to do again. Here are a couple of work-in-progress shots:

I also produced some other versions on different coloured t-shirts. This is definitely something I want to do some more of, and look towards selling them, either online or at a market...
