Serco Prize for Illustration 2014: London Stories

So I was not shortlisted for the Serco Prize for Illustration 2014, but never mind. I'm still pleased with the piece I submitted, so wanted to share it!

For the theme "London Stories", I decided to draw the story of Dick Whittington, who travelled to London with his cat because he believed the streets were paved with gold (They weren't!) and later heard the bells of Bow Church proclaim him to be the future Lord Mayor of London (Which he was!).
