While I was busy eating chocolate eggs on Easter Sunday, I noticed that Nintendo were running a competition on their
Nintendo 3DS UK Facebook page to decorate a Nintendo-themed egg with the chance to win a Limited Edition Yoshi's Island 3DS XL. So I decided to give it a go and went off and bought half a dozen eggs and got painting!
I painted egg-shaped versions of
Mega Man,
Samus Aran from
Metroid, The Villager from
Animal Crossing and
Link from
The Legend of Zelda series, all of whom are playable characters in the upcoming
Super Smash Bros game.
And as they were eggs, I decided that the "Smash" in
Super Smash Bros should probably be literal! Poor Link...!
